Freyja Top in Ivory Silk

ALL GOOD THINGS MUST COME TO AN END. THIS STYLE HAS NOW BEEN ARCHIVED ♥

From Old Norse mythology to contemporary Scandinavian folklore, Freyja’s associations as the goddess of love and beauty span centuries. In the spirit of her namesake, the Freyja top is a true labour of love: meticulously handcrafted over the span of three hours from start to finish.

The Freyja top instantly takes center stage with a silken, luxurious appearance. Despite this polish and glamour, her true beauty is in her effortlessness –– soft silk for comfort, a neckline designed for versatility, and enough stretch for easy, free movement. Slip the Freyja on with relaxed vintage denim, perfectly put together as you host a cozy wine night with friends. Or dress her up for something more formal, stealing the spotlight while you’re at it!

The Freyja Top was designed by Murlong Cres for the Autumn/Winter 2021 season.  Inspired by Nordic and Scandinavian lore. Produced by hand by Kaja Høglund in Norway.

This top features hand-shirred sections at the bust, elbow, and wrist, puffed sleeves, and ruffled hems. Sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder. 100% OEKO-certified Grade 6A mulberry silk.
