When Vogue Scandinavia Featured Murlong Cres: A Founder’s Diary
I still remember the moment I saw the headline: “Murlong Cres - SS25” in Vogue Scandinavia. It felt surreal — a brand I started from my bedroom during the pandemic was now being recognized on such a prestigious platform.
Our debut at Oslo Runway NEXT was a milestone. Held at the historic Grand Hotel in Oslo, the show was a culmination of months of hard work, late nights, and countless fittings. The collection was a tribute to the fabrics that have been the cornerstone of Murlong Cres since the beginning: silk and cotton . We embraced a minimalist, all-white color palette, introducing cream-toned pieces that nod to our tradition of launching new designs in ivory.
Among the standout pieces were the Elsa Maxi Dress and the Elsa Bustier — designs inspired by Swedish supermodel Elsa Hosk. Imagining these pieces worn from casual picnics to glamorous weddings, their versatility truly knows no bounds.
Being featured in Vogue Scandinavia was more than just a press mention; it was validation of our journey and the values we uphold — from our commitment to slow fashion to creating pieces that make women feel confident and beautiful.
